【摘要】:Fabricsintendedforthisend-useshouldmeetalloftherequirementslistedinTable1.Itshouldberecognizedthatfabriccanbeproducedutilizinganalmostinfinitenumberofcombinationsofconstructionvariables(e.g.,typeoffibers,percentageoffibers,yarntwist,yarnnumber,warpandpickcount,chemicalandmechanicalfinishes).Additionally,fashionoraestheticsdictatethattheultimateconsumermayfindacceptablearticlesmadefromfabricsthatdonotconformtoalloftherequirementsinTable1.Hence,nosingleperformancespecificationcanpossiblyapplytoallthevariousfabricsthatcouldbeutilizedforthisend-use.Theusesandsignificanceofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thisperformancespecificationcoversfabricsusedinbrassieresunderwear,slips,andlingerie.1.2Theserequirementsapplytothelengthandwidthdirectionsforthosepropertieswhereeachfabricdirectionispertinent.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsdescribedinthisperformancespecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
