【摘要】:Di-tert-butylperoxideiswidelyusedasacatalystandreactioninitiator.Knowledgeoftheperoxidecontentisimportantinsuchapplications.Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedurefordeterminingtheactiveperoxidecontentofcommercialdi-tert-butylperoxide.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheassayofdi-tert-butylperoxideusinggaschromatography.Itisapplicabletocommercialdi-tert-butylperoxidewhichmaycontainsmallamountsofisobutylene,tert-butanol,tert-butylhydroperoxide,triisobutylenes,andwaterasimpurities.1.2ReviewthecurrentappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheets(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsstatementsaregiveninSection9.
