【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC13249:a)introducesthestillimagepartofISO/IEC13249(allparts);b)givesthereferencesnecessaryforthispartofISO/IEC13249;c)definesnotationsandconventionsspecifictothispartofISO/IEC13249;d)definesconceptsspecifictothispartofISO/IEC13249;e)definesthestillimageuser-definedtypesandtheirassociatedroutines.Thestillimageuser-definedtypesdefinedinthispartofISO/IEC13249adheretothefollowing.—Astillimageuser-definedtypeisgenerictoimagehandling.Itaddressestheneedtostore,manageandretrieveinformationbasedonaspectsofinherentimagecharacteristicssuchasheight,widthandformatandbasedonimagefeaturessuchasaveragecolor,colorhistogram,positionalcolorandtexture.Italsoaddressestheneedtoemploymanipulationsuchasrotation,scaling,aswellassimilarityassessment.—Astillimageuser-definedtypedoesnotredefinethedatabaselanguageSQLdirectlyorincombinationwithanotherstillimagedatatype.Thestillimageuser-definedtypesareapplicabletoalldifferentimageformats.However,notallfunctionalitycanbeusedwithallknownstillimageformats.AnimplementationofthispartofISO/IEC13249mayexistinenvironmentsthatalsosupportinformationandcontentmanagement,decisionsupport,datamininganddatawarehousingsystems.ApplicationareasaddressedbyimplementationsofthispartofISO/IEC13249include,butarenotrestrictedto,graphics,multimedia,scientificresearchandmedicine.
