【摘要】:ThisisthepracticeforcalculatingtheIFIofthepavement.TheIFIhasprovenusefulforharmonizationofthefrictionmeasuringequipment.F60andSphaveproventobeabletopredictthespeeddependenceofwetpavementx2013;relatedmeasurementsofthevarioustypesoffriction-measuringequipment.2ThetwoIFIparameters(F60andSp)havebeenfoundtobereliablepredictorsofthedependenceofwetpavementfrictionontireslipandvehiclespeed.TheIFIparameters,F60andSp,canbeusedtocalculatethecalibratedfrictionatanotherx2013;slipspeedusingatransformationequation.TheIFImodelgivenbelowdescribestherelationshipbetweenthevaluesofwetpavementfrictionFRSmeasuredataslipspeedofSandbetweenthefrictionvaluesmeasuredbydifferenttypesofequipment.AsignificanceoftheIFIModelisthatthemeasurementoffrictionwithadevicedoesnothavetobeatoneofthespeedsrunintheexperiment.FRScanbemeasuredatsomeSandisalwaysadjustedtoFR60.Thus,ifadevicecannotmaintainitsnormaloperatingspeedandmustrunatsomespeedhigherorlowerbecauseoftraffic,themodelstillworkswell.InthatcaseSisdeterminedbythevehiclespeed(V)whichcanbeconvertedtoSbymultiplyingVbythepercentslipforfixedslipequipmentorbymultiplyingVbythesineoftheslipangleforsideforceequipment.Thispracticedoesnotaddresstheproblemsassociatedwithobtainingameasuredfrictionormeasuredmacrotexture.1.1ThispracticecoversthecalculationoftheInternationalFrictionIndex(IFI)fromameasurementofpavementmacrotextureandwetpavementfriction.TheIFIwasdevelopedinthePIARCInternationalExperimenttoCompareandHarmonizeTextureandSkidResistanceMeasurements.Theindexallowsfortheharmonizingoffrictionmeasurementswithdifferentequipmenttoacommoncalibratedindex.Thispracticeprovidesforharmonizationoffrictionreportingfordevicesthatuseasmoothtreadtesttire.1.2TheIFIconsistsoftwoparametersthatreportthecalibratedwetfrictionat60km/h(F60)andthespeedconstantofwetpavementfriction(Sp).1.3Themeanprofiledepth(MPD)hasbeenshowntobeusefulinpredictingthespeedconstant(gradient)ofwetpavementfriction.1.4Alineartransformationoftheestimatedfrictionat60km/hprovidesthecalibratedF60value.Theestimatedfrictionat60km/hisobtainedbyusingthespeedconstanttocalculatetheestimatedfrictionat60km/hfromameasurementmadeatanyspeed.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundequivalentsarerationalized,ratherthanexactmathematicalconversions.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifanyassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
