Scope:This SAE Recommended Practice establishes minimum performance requirements and related uniform laboratory test procedures for evaluating axial (lateral) curb impact collision properties of all wheels intended for use on passenger cars and light trucks. It is equivalent to ISO 7141-1981with the excpetion of the Definitions section which cites SAE J393.MIL-P-26367A, MILITARY SPECIFICATION, PROPELLER SYSTEMS, AIRCRAFT, MODEL SPECIFICATION FOR (OUTLINE AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION) (11 FEB 1966)., This specification establishes the form to be used by manufacturers in the preparation of specifications for aircraft propeller system models.
